Scott Pollack, AAMS, CAP®
Scott is a highly seasoned financial advisor, with over 30 years of industry experience. He has provided wealth management services to the Montclair community since 2005. Prior to this, Scott worked as a retirement counselor with TIAA-CREF, a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch, and as an analyst with The Equitable Life Assurance Society. Following his experience with TIAA, Scott has been committed to helping education professionals with all aspects of their financial and retirement planning.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College. He is licensed in New Jersey for life and health insurance services, and also holds several securities industry licenses through LPL Financial, including the Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65. Scott also earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning, and the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation from The American College. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and The International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy, a network of professional advisors devoted to mentoring local high schools by providing internship opportunities and scholarships.
Active in the community, Scott has served in various leadership roles for numerous charitable organizations dedicated to his hometown, the arts, health and children’s services, including the Montclair Public Library, Montclair Lions Club, Montclair Economic Development Corporation, Montclair Volunteer Ambulance Unit, Bnai Keshet Synagogue and Circle of Life Children’s Center.
